hey Linda! I am doing fine. my left arm and fingers are trying to come back, I can move them a little anyway. My taste has changed. My voice has changed. My therapy dog, lol, knows my fingers don't work right and keeps trying to lick them, then bites my nose and licks me on the lips and in the ears, before I can push her away, it's hard one handed, and I get tickled and seem to laugh like a kid, I don't have as much control over my voice as I once did.

Your therapy dog sounds priceless :-) We have two dogs and they are so wonderful (the cat might not agree).

What a journey you are on.

So glad you are sharing it with us.

PS: I'm dopey right now...took a sleeping pill at 10:30 but some worries got me up (stupid things like wondering how much the leak in our washing machine is going to cost and did the water--which went through the wall to the porch--cause any serious damage.) Think I'm going back to sleep.

Hi Len,
I am truly saddened, to read about your misfortune, and at the same time I'm so inspired by your courage and resilience.
I honestly wish the best for you.

I haven't been visiting the forums much lately and I apparently missed your initial post. So sorry to hear about the cards you have been dealt, but your message is filled with perspective and hope. Be sure to keep us updated on your progress!

That's amazing Len, you have a great attitude.

Good luck on your continued recovery and on not smoking in the future.
