My heart ached, yet my nerves were numb
Now, the only things that matter
Are what heaven helps me overcome

But ev’ry mountain that we climb
Teaches us what grace is

O my blindness kept me lonely
And my thick skin was a thin disguise
But the things that you have shown me
Wiped the darkness from my eyes
