Submission Deadlines and time of listing results

Post by Picardster » Sat Jul 31, 2021 2:54 pm

I've been wondering a few times already why the time-span between the submission deadlines and the listing results is so inconsistent.

Sometimes the results come in less than a week after the submission-deadline.

In (many) other cases it takes weeks until I get to know the results. For instance listing S210707WM

Deadline was July, 7th. Results are still not in :-/

Strange.....

Because they are all screened by different people with different schedules and availability

Not to mention the amount of submissions the screeners have to go through

Of course and conceded in full.
I'd guess that the listing deadlines are depending on the deadlines of the customer - and, of course, of the availability of the screeners etc.
But aren't these facts clear upfront?

I, for one, would have submitted more for the one or the other listing, if I had had more time....just saying.

Oooops, that, in return, would have caused again more workload for the screeners - with a need to result in even longer review times.....what a vicious circle. Silly me ;)
