Sunny Days Don't End

I'm thinking of the above as suitable for this:

MODERN POP SINGER/SONGWRITER SONGS with Male Vocals are needed by a Major Label A&R Executive
for a Chart-topping, Grammy-nominated Group working on their upcoming album!
This Executive is looking for Mid-to-Up-Tempo Songs that could be found on a playlist with:
"If You Ever Forget That You Love Me" by Isak Danielson
"Happy For You" by Lukas Graham
"What They'll Say About Us" by FINNEAS
Please send top-notch Pop Singer/Songwriter Songs with captivating melodies, instantly memorable
choruses, and mainstream hit potential. Please be sure that any virtual instruments or samples
you use are fresh and modern. Compelling, well-performed vocals paired with honest, well-crafted
lyrics could help get this Executive and the Group excited about cutting your songs.
TAXI TIP: This A&R Executive is willing to listen to stripped-down or fully produced demos! That
said, your Songs have to sound super strong – like hits in the making – especially if you’re
submitting stripped-down demos!
Your production and recording quality needs to be clean, clear, well-balanced, and good enough to
represent your Songs well. Do NOT copy the references in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as
a general guide for tone, texture, and overall vibe.

Regards,

GO

This certainly isn't a mainstream song; the production is rather peculiar, more like underground, and it relies heavily on your voice, which is very specific. It is highly unlikely that a some random grammy-winning artist could or would match it.

Apart from that, the production is rather muffled and fuzzy; you'll need a much better sound quality to have any shot at all for a listing like this.

Hi Gil, always good to meet another Brit here.
As its a big prize, I reckon the bar will be very high for this listing and only the best submissions will have a chance of getting through.
The listing request includes the following......

Without going into detail, I have to say that I think your song falls short in many of these departments. Taxi screeners are pretty strict on only forwarding material that meets the listing criteria, especially for high bar listings, and sadly that makes this submission unlikely to be forwarded IMHO.
Graham (UK). Still composing a little faster than decomposing, and 100% HI.

I have to agree with the others that it's not right or ready for that listing. But there is something very cool about the song and its off-center vibe, though, and I feel like it's worth working on to get the right blend so that it could work for the right listing at some point. For example, I can imagine a female singer with a cool acoustic-guitar based backing band taking this to the next level. Keep creating! DK

I'll raise Graham's 'many' and say it falls short in all of them

I can't find any redeeming qualities other than the lads might have saved you $5

Dude, you used Autotune. It's a 100/100 in my book.

But in all seriousness, I think the song is cool. It will not work for a pop submission.

Many thanks for all feedback.

An ounce of honesty is worth any amount of right-on fakery.

Apologies for any offence caused.

Right on,
