Hello,
I am wondering if you can record the classes. That way you don't have to take notes. I use logic and it's easy to record the classes using the mic in the laptop. Do they allow recording?

I think it depends on the presenter. Some have no problem with it, others might care. You can always ask beforehand to be safe.
