Taxi member looking for furture collaboratations
Hi guys,
I’m a fairly new Taxi member (6 months) and I am looking to collaborate on future Taxi listing with other Taxi members. I don’t sing so would like to work with a singer male/female on suitable listings, preferably with the ability to record the vocals (as I'm in the UK) which I would then import into our project and process.
I have spent a number of months doing research and watching a lot of Taxi TV Live and talking to other long term TAXI members, submitting to a few listings (with no luck yet it's just a matter of time! ) and learning from that process, I feel that I am ready and better informed now.
My genre I would say would be mainly in rock, alternative rock, indie rock vein although I can work in some folk and funk genres but you can be the judge of that. Please click on the Taxi and soundcloud icons below to listen to some recent collaborations.
I have more (previous) material you can listen to here: https://soundcloud.com/keplerjunction to see if any it fits in with your style. Although most of these songs are not suitable for film/TV they should showcase my abilities. I’m always willing to learn and open to ideas when collaborating and I feel that I’m easy to work with. I would say that I am fairly adaptable and I can deconstruct most songs given as a reference in the listings.
I would definitely like to make more A/C pop/rock songs.
In the songs I play electric guitars (lead and rhythm), acoustic guitars, bass, play (a little) and program piano, synths, and drums. I mix/engineer, arrange and master all tracks. I have a good grasp of music theory and I am an advanced Cubase user (currently using Cubase Pro 9). So, I can get a song together really quickly.
My strengths are song writing, guitars, mixing and production and Cubase.
My weaknesses are lyrics and vocals. Although I’m planning to get my lyrical skills better from now on.
If you like what you hear please PM me with a link so I can listen to your songs and we can take it from there.
Thanks for reading

Re: Taxi member looking for furture collaboratations
Hi Fuzzbox!
I am also a new Taxi member and attended last year's Road Rally. I went alone, but it wasn't as awkward as I thought it might be, and met people, attended great classes and ballroom events, and I'm looking forward to the next Rally.
I might be interested in collaborating with you, as your music sounds good to my ears! I do write lyrics and sing, as well as play all the major Rock instruments. I'd like to get to a point where I'm submitting at least one song or cue per week. I've submitted several so far with no forwards yet, but that will come with time.
Some of my recent recordings are at the link below, with "Made You Laugh" being the only one with vocals. The others are instrumental cues. Michael played "Wandering At Night" on yesterday's Taxi TV.
