Hey

Well done on this! A super post and a lovely, wholesome, gently uplifting, warm piece.

When you wrote:

'It has a very simple and much used chord progression (I major to VI minor). The instrumentation is not
overbearing. A prime example of 'less is more'. '....

I got the feeling you were sort of half-apologising for the simplicity of the piece or for its bog-standard chord progression. But you shouldn't. You have nailed what the customer wanted. And nailed it well.

That is the hardest thing I've found at Taxi. How to nail the listing specification right on the button. Sometimes we get bogged down in how to be better, different, similar but muscially superlative, close but not close enough etc.

When, in fact, all we have to do is give them exactly what they want.

Easier said than done, I know.

Well done, again

Liam

Thanks to each and every one of you for your comments!

Music for media, especially advertising, is very black or white. Meaning that it either works or it doesn't.
Thankfully mine did work!!!

warmest regards to all
