The Redemption of Others. (pending final mix)
This is a type of Gospel (yet non religious) based composition that I drug over the coals a bit. A song for these trying times if you will.... (if you 'wont, I don't blame you).
There is a whacky bit of guitar nonsense in the middle, not sure it will fly with the traditionalists... but then my stuff rarely does anyway. I'd be interested mostly if your first instincts were that it fit, or if that it didn't.

I still have a real and final mix down to go, so any and all observations will be lapped up by me like you were giving milk to a thirsty kitten.
Thanks~!

Maxwell, I love this! Honestly one of the best things I've heard on this forum. Love the Lennon vibe and then the Brian May style guitar break in the middle rules! You have such a unique vibe and vision here that I'd be careful taking advice, trust yourself on this one. That said, I'd love to hear a real drummer on this one. Oh yeah, the circus keyboards at the top rule too! Really great, special stuff. Keep doin' what you're doin'. eo.

I just like to float my stuff before my final mix as I only have one ear so I hope to catch glitches and such vicariously through those who hear in stereo.. *S*
Appreciate your time and thoughts~!

Maxwell:
Here's the bowl of milk for the kitten.
This was sort of weird for me. At first, I thoought the vocals were too flakey. Then, I thought, they're just right for this tune. Then, I thought they were flakey again. I'm an amateur, but here's my initial impression: the vocals are good, but have to be more up front in the mix. So a Taxi reviewer, or whoever else, can hear them come through. Just my thoughts.

This is great! I don't think you should change a thing, it all works for me. I think the vocal levels are good too . . . any more upfront & you run the risk of sounding like a demo instead of a record
it sounds "mixed like a record" now, good job!

Hey Max!
This is COOL! Yeah, I hear the reference to Lennon, very nice. COOL guit solo! Quite a twist in regards to gospel, I'll say. But hey, gotta' go with your gut. I ain't mad atcha! This should grab someone's attention (meaning a screener), just hard to say which one. Good luck with it Max.

Thanks again for the thoughts everyone..
I am doing a bit of a re-mix at this very moment and am just putzing around at the minute harvesting thoughts and any insights I might apply...

@DesireeBowen
Thanks for the ear and thoughts..
It's funny.. I sometimes shoot for the Beatles and know ways to exploit my own voice to sound more 'Beatlish' if I need to..
This just wasn't one of those times.. *L*
It's just my naturally whiny voice mixed with the cheesy unpredictable slap back.... *G*
Thanks for the ear and time..
