MarkI am tired just thinking of your music making efforts:)This must have been fun to put together. My kinda music.Like to see you use less of the harmony in the verse. Your voice does not need help. Especially with that vox background patch in there. Maybe intermintent? This one gets the juices flowing. Inspired me to head to the studio before seven.Sounds a little Beatle influenced. (a good thing)Are you playing those keys? Man that was good.Great stuff. Keep it going.Paul

Cool song! I really like the harmonies, and the numerous stops in it. Not to mention the lyrics are great.Overall it sounds very bright (which may have been your intention); I found myself wondering how it might sound with more "fatness" or lows in it. Otherwise, I think it's awesome! Nice job!Suz

Hey Mark. It's inspiring to see you writing so many songs. February is "Song Writing Month" for me...as in one song.I'm hearing Beatles too and I love all the stops and harmonies. Good title too. Your vocal performance throughout is excellent.I hear what Suz is saying about the low end--there's not much bottom in the drums.5 down, 9 to go??!!Vince

Thanks everyone! This whole deal inspires me, too...I've never tried anything like this before. In fact I've rarely EVER tried to tell the muse what to do, always just waited till something happened. So, to be honest, I'm even more surprised that the production sounds any good at all...I'm so pleased to be getting critiques like "need more low end on the mix". Yeah!! I mean, I envisioned a lot more noisy, nasty recordings, so I guess all this hanging out on the Tech thread has been an enormous help. Thanks for all the nice comments and suggestions. I'm logging them all, but not thinking too much for now...it's off to the next ones. Cheers!-Mark

Did you play everything? Its a good groove but maybe its not my style. The mix is solid. The vocals sound awkward. Reaching to hard its straining in my ears

Nice mark. No way I could keep up with the 14 song pace. GB

If I were given this to master, I might've been tempted to pump up the bottom a bit; but it's perfectly period correct for the age of vinyl, when you could only put so much bass on a record without making the disc shorter or having the needle pop out of the groove. Kudos.

I hate it when my needle pops out of the groove.
