This feels like success
I've brought on a new co-writer. And we've signed several pieces to one of my top-money-making publishers. (The first library I made it into through TAXI)
The new co-writer is my son. And the stuff we do is pretty much 50/50 on the performances... (I'm also teaching him mixing and mastering... and metadata, and proper professional correspondence)
In this link you can hear our latest stuff. The percussion parts are about 60% acoustic/real. And there are no "loops" in any of the percussion parts. All melodic instruments are virtual or synth.
Oh, incidentally, he's 19 years old and a better percussionist than I am.

Curious about the title to that third track: Fat Cat Guild - how'd you arrive at that, and what 'mood' did it 'speak' to you, relating to the type of cue and/or listing?
Very cool collection; congrats on the new partnership.
Cheers,
Peter

Re: This feels like success
Heya Peter R. Thanks!
The music is mostly targeted to an award winning show my music is on.. they like to do episodes about corrupt governments and corporations... hence the title "Fat Cat Guild"

Re: This feels like success
Those are great tracks, very ”tension”!
I’m sure you will have a unique flavour adding acoustic percussion parts
I don’t know the genre but perhaps the most common is 100% sample libraries/plugins
...and congrats to the new collaboration, sounds like a lot of fun!

If you are making music with your son, you have already won. And the tracks sound great!
