Hey, y'all.I promised I'd keep checking in, daily.I am now in my 101st hour without a cigarette!! Had a couple of tough hours this afternoon, but I ain't gonna give in. I need to take a second and SCREAM!!!!!!!!! wooHOO!And just as terrific... I spent about 5 hours in the studio this afternoon (have about 6-8 hours planned for tomorrow), and we've already got 2.7 songs down. My friend and engineer is amazing...we're having a blast...and he's almost as into it as I am. (I tend to get a little emotionally involved, dontcha know...)Talk to ya manyana...Ted

Hang in there Ted - the physical part should be just about over by now. You can beat the mental stuff too. I quit over 20 years ago and many, many times have felt that it was the best thing I ever did for myself. I still have my last pack of Marlboros with one unsmoked ciggie left in it stashed in a file cabinet in my garage... For some insane reason I wanted to keep one in the house so that I could beat the temptation every hour of every day forever. I'm not saying that's a good idea but that's what I did. The dreams (of smoking) subsided after about a year or so.You'll never regret this great decision. dean

I don't have any living recent memory of ever waking up THIS pissed off. The good news is that the toughest part of my day is probably behind me.Ted

hey ted, hang in there, you can do it!when I was a teenager I used to smoke from time to time. I never did it on a daily basis, though.I think that was actually a good thing - would I have smoked daily I think I would have been addicted quite fast. best of luck!martin
