"Thrusters On" (A post screener critique iteration)

Post by johndalenow » Fri May 13, 2022 8:09 pm

This is sorta copied after the 1st reference "The Phoenix Rises." I used only a 4 note motif, similar to "Phoenix." My question is, can the initial 4 note motif "qualify" as a complete Act 1? I'm not sure because the reference has so many edit points it was hard for me to determine its actual trailer format. Any help, especially regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated.

ANTHEMIC ORCHESTRAL or ORCHESTRAL HYBRID TRAILER-Style INSTRUMENTAL CUES are needed by a Trailer-Focused Production Music Library that has landed TONS of placements for Huge, Major Motion Picture Trailers and Video Games.

TAXI TIP: This is a big deal Library that's BRAND NEW to requesting music through TAXI, so chances are you don’t have any material in their catalog yet! This company has had tons of success with placements with some of the biggest Movie and Video Game Trailers out there, so this is a great opportunity to create a new outlet for your music and begin a new relationship with an awesome company!

This Company is searching for Instrumental Cues that could fit on a playlist with the following references:

Please submit well-composed Orchestral or Orchestral Hybrid Trailer-Style Instrumental Cues that exude an anthemic sound and feel, overall. Your submissions should have engaging, epic motifs, driving rhythms, top-notch arrangements, and three "acts" that build throughout to a climactic crescendo. Your arrangements should feature top-tier Orchestral instrumentation, and can include Sound Design, Electronic, Rock, and Hip-Hop instrumentation, as well. Please be sure your production and any and all virtual instruments or samples you use are high-quality and cutting-edge. If you are using virtual Orchestral samples, they must sound like the real deal.

All submissions should be at least 2 minutes, and not to exceed 3 minutes in length. Non-faded, buttoned/stinger endings will work best. Please do not copy the references in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for overall feel, texture, and tone. Broadcast Quality is needed.

This company offers an EXCLUSIVE 50/50 deal. You’ll split any upfront sync fees 50/50. They’ll get 100% of the Publisher’s share, and you’ll keep 100% of the Writer’s share. You must own or control your Master and Copyright. Since this is an EXCLUSIVE deal, please be sure the material you submit for this pitch is NOT already signed with other Libraries or Catalogs. Please submit as many Instrumental Cues as you’d like, online or per CD. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI. Submissions must be received no later than 11:59 PM (PDT) on Wednesday, May 18th, 2022. TAXI
