Re: Any Feedback (singer/songwriter)

To be honest, I tried to give you honest feedback and be helpful in the past and you didn't seem receptive, responding by spamming with pictures and videos. This is most likely why you aren't getting any feedback as others have had the same experience as I did.
Just a penny for your thoughts if this song would suit an artist like Lewis Capaldi
if not what would I need to do with this track to make it appealing to him?
The song doesn't have a chorus/hook. That's a basic requirement of songwriting. Repeating "I'll be missing you" over and over is not that. You need to take step 1 and study the essentials of songwriting, forgetting for now your thoughts of getting a song to an artist. I didn't bother checking out the lyrics because so much work is needed on everything. It's light years away from what it would take to be appealing to anyone.

The vocal is bad. No shame in not being a singer (I suck as a singer) but then you've got to get someone else to sing. Demos today also have to be very well produced, almost like the real thing. This production would never cut it.

If you want to be successful, stop trying to jump 10,000 steps ahead to land a major cut, and focus on learning songwriting. There are no shortcuts.

What Casey Said!

Also, dude, you posted at 8 something in the morning on a Sunday, and you're expecting people to respond to you by 9am the next day??

Business eitquette... give people time to respond, and if you're not getting a response - again see what Casey said!

He writes his own songs so barking up the wrong tree there. But genreally this is just really badly done ...not sure if trolling?

While I appreciate the "thank you", I'd appreciate it more without the gif. This is one of the reasons people don't respond to you. We just want to have conversation, not a bunch of pictures, gifs, memes, etc. Can't speak for others, of course, but I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who finds these annoying.
