I just listened to the new mix and like it better. Not my genre but I do like EDM. Now I don't think the bass is 'in your face' enough. It's there but not enough energy? maybe try a different sound.

sounds cool.
if you want a good mix forget about the side-chaining for now..
side-chaining is only (if needed)..
you DO need a bigger kick
you could try high passing the kick you have...
and trigger a gate that controls a sine wave generator..(so much fun really)
so
*layer your kicks (sub, mid, top kick)
*layer you lead synths (at least pad with pluck patches) to sound like authintic edm (imo)
*use short ping pong delay efx with parallel fx processing on some risers,snare rolls
and other weird fx for fun (give nice vibe)
keep your tracks balanced .. dont worry about loudness till your structure
