Let's say you submit a song to Taxi. THEN you make a few final tweaks. Nothing major... revise a track's EQ, adjust the mastering, etc. THEN you hear from the library or music supervisor that Taxi forwarded it to.
At that point would you send them your newly tweaked track, or send them the older one that Taxi forwarded them, as that's what they received and liked in the first place?

Well, hopefully, the tweeks are an improvement in one manner or another. Right? Why else would you have made any changes.
Personally, I'd send the new version. It's been my experience that they ask for alt versions anyway. As long as the underlying song is like 99% the same, let it roll. Now if you have rewritten a verse, changed lyrics, changed keys, changed tempo or something like that, just ask... maybe send them both and see which version they like better.
