Hmm, dead while plugged into the computer sounds bad. I guess it could be a battery, but that does indeed sound more serious.Rob

My daughter named her Ipod Bob.... A couple months ago, I went to lie down on my bed for a nap and there was a little box wrapped in black crepe paper and a silk black rose tied with a purple ribbon..... and a little card ..... said RIP Bob is dead...... I have my Ipod..... with close to 4000 songs on it.... I loaded my whole CD collection to itunes when I first got it.... I don't use it all that much.... just as a catalog.... its hard to believe that with all those songs on it, I have very little stuff from Taxi a la s especially in the rock and pop genre.... I would think I need an 80 GB unit to hold all the tunes if I were to start a buy spree in itunes for that.... Anyway, if its really dead.... sorry to hear it.... but you should see if the Apple people will perform an autopsy and determine COD.......ArkJack

OMG!!! It's a miralce!!! She came back to life!!! I thought I'd plug it in to the wall charger one more time and I got the infamous apple on the display!! Woooo Hoooo!!! I will return all the sympathy cards and charitable donations made in in the name of my iPod... You can return all the black clothes you may have bought for the funeral... Special thanks to Elton John for writing another version of Candle In The Wind for my iPod... Casey
