Well OK not wealth and taste so much

, but a composer nonetheless.
I went full time in the composin' biz about 16 years ago when I did a 5 year stint as a staff composer for Electronic Arts Seattle, working on the Need for Speed series, etc.
Since then I've been working remotely from my project studio, mostly video games, but more recently also some TV, including a bit of work right now for a boutique NY production music library that specializes in promos.
Currently I reside in Nashville which I find to be a COOL and GREAT town

, and this is where I have met good 'ol Big Blue Barry, who has chipped away at my jaded cynical skepticism regarding Taxi, so much so that I intend to attend this year's Road Rally and look forward to meeting bunches of y'all!
Besides being an electric guitar geek, I've been having little bits of fun lately with a dobro and a 6 string banjo (although don't let that give the impression I'm some sort of a country specialist). I've recorded an album of straight ahead jazz original material with live instrumentation, and some other interests include Tai Chi, nature hiking, cruising in a 1954 MG TF sports car my uncle gave me, and snorkeling. Too bad the quality snorkeling opportunities in Nashville are ZILCH LOL.

Very nice to meet you. Look forward to seeing you at the Rally. Many years ago, I used to work for Game Informer Magazine and got to visit EA's San Jose office. See you next week!

Matt,
Awesome music and impressive accomplishments. (I guess they go hand in hand.)
Hope to say hello at the Rally.
Bob P.

Greetings from sunny San Diego, and welcome...from one who is envious of your location, for country-music sake.
Wanna disclose or explain the nature of your "handle"? bejeeber?
Cheers.

Well, I can't make the rally. Though I once had an MG, and totaled it around 1968. I'm still here, but the vehicle is not. My best wishes to you! Ott

Mucho appreciato for the warm welcome, compadres.
The nature of my Bejeeber "handle"? I thought I had actually made that name up and thought it it sounded likably comical or some krap, only to later realize that it has long existed in a "scared the bejeebers out of me!" context.
I'm going to just hope the "thought I made it up, but didn't really" thing won't also be a factor with my MUSIC!!
Understood how someone could envy the musical environ of Nashville, but can we just agree that San Diego is unspeakably awesome, hands down the nicest climate in the continental US? (I lived there for 3 super comfortable years)
And Ott, you totaled an MG in '68? Not sure how you survived that, but thank gosh somehow you did. Those <68 cars, probably
especially MGs, weren't exactly loaded with crash saftey features as I recall.

Well...I don't think any suspicion or accusations will come up, unless you start asking for feedback on your original composition "Stairway To..."

...
How good some of the music coming from some of these Taxi-forum guys is what "scares the bejeebers outta me" comes to mind.
Not that that's a bad thing.
The bar has been set very high...and that is good for inspiration-sake; imho.
Cheers.

Welcome Matt!
Nashville is great, and not too far for me. Just a week ago we caught the Thursday & Friday late shows at the Bluebird. There's no place I'd rather be. Selena Gomez made a surprise appearance on Thursday.
Which reminds me ... Without your picture I might have thought bejeeber was some kind of code for Justin Bieber ... but apparently he's still missing out on Taxi
