Forum Newbie, Taxi member

Hi Everyone,
I have been a taxi member for a year now but for some reason unknown to myself I missed the forum.
Please let me introduce myself:
I am Bruce, I'm originally from Belfast but I'm now based in the North of England.
I've been working full time as a double bass player and bass guitarist for 21 years? and over the past couple of years have got back into the writing side of things.
I'm really into writing orchestra based music but I also have experience of writing jazz, indie, electronic and rock songs and music. Currently trying my hand at writing cues and hybrid stuff.
Last year I decided to join taxi in order to try to get a few more opportunities and I've found it good so far. A steep learning curve but a positive one.
I've had a look around the forum and it looks great, very inclusive with loads of helpful, knowledgeable people and info.
I look forward to getting involved with the community,
