New to Taxi

Hi All,
Just wanted to briefly introduce myself and start getting involved in the conversation. I grew playing in bands and got into recording in my late teens. Gave up the dream in my 30s and went back to school and now I sit at a desk most of my days. I’m not complaining, it’s good gig and I like the people I work with.
I started getting into instrumental sync/licensing about a year and half and fell in love with it. I’ve had moderate success getting into libraries, but no placements yet that I’m aware of. I joined Taxi a few months ago hoping to make more contacts and just learn more about the business in general.
I’ve had one forward out of four submissions, so I feel like I’m off to decent start.
I was wondering if anybody had advice on which genres of instrumentals I should focus on. Has anybody had more success on getting forwarded in one style more than another? I tend to do a lot of electronic stuff, but I feel that style might be pretty saturated and would like to change it up a bit.
Thanks,
Don
