Does Anybody Use Songspace?

I just saw an article about mobile apps for songwriting, and one of those mentioned was Songspace. It looks like a great tool for song collaboration, and also for sharing and pitching your catalog, so I was surprised when I searched the forum and it only comes up in ONE thread!

They've been around since 2013, so I have to assume either people know about it and don't like it, or it is somehow still under the radar.

I just signed up for the free account, which doesn't include the extended pitching features, so if nobody has any experience with it I will try to report back on it in a few months.

Never heard of it until now

I do seem to manage okay with Google Sheets, Dropbox and SoundCloud...be interested to hear your experience though

Since I am horrendously disorganized I like the idea of keeping it all in one place, and after last year's Soundcloud drama I worry that they might up and disappear one day!

Used to use it.... didn't stick. That was a few years ago, so I'm not sure if it's more intuitive now than it was back then... I just found it a little clunky and time consuming.

Composer catalog is BY FAR my favorite system. Fingers crossed for an app someday 8-)

Thanks Anna. I don't know Composer Catalog either, so I'll have to check it out as well!

If you're looking for a song pitching and licensing alternative to Songspace then Synchtank (https://www.synchtank.com) also do a version of their platform for smaller shops and musicians: https://www.soundgizmo.com
