Listening To My Own Stuff to get back on track

Sometimes I get lost in the minutiae of writing to briefs for my Library contacts and lose sight of what has been working for me. At times like that it's helpful to go back and listen to the stuff I did that got used in TV shows. It's like getting back in touch with my musical cornerstone.

I made a little playlist of my stuff that VICE and VICE News Tonight has used. It is very enlightening... to me.

Here it is... hope it is helpful to you... remember... this is UNDERSCORE stuff, i.e. very little movement, very little progression... IT MUST STAY OUT OF THE WAY OF DIALOGUE! If you hear a cue in this list that builds, it is likely they only used the first portion of it.

Cool Russell! Thanks for sharing! Good stuff
I often can't believe how much music Taxi & ML have inspired us to write and record
Cheers

Thank you, Russell. That is instructional to hear. It's obvious you stayed in the background and yet kept the forward momentum going. The first one Batik Taxi (?) I thought had the most going on and could stand on it's own without picture.
Anyway cool to hear this for sure!
