Hey guys, i'm looking for an
amp-in-a-box that can get great fender cleans and that also takes pedals well.
I want to use it to record directly with an audio interface.
The only alternative seems to be the Tech 21 Blonde but I was wondering if there are any other alternatives out there or is the Blonde my best bet?

I would recommend the Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister.

It's a small lunch box amp with an integrated power soak (for natural tube harmonics) and a build in speaker simulator. Almost every sound is possible. Here is a great review.

I have the Milkman Sound The Amp.
It is a 50 watt tube hybrid amp. With volume and gain controls you can dial in very clean sounds as well as distorted sounds.
The owner is a pedal steel player and started by building clean amps with a lot of headroom.
It has an XLR output. I plug it directly into my sound card. It does not require a speaker load.
It is very pedal friendly.
I record a lot of jazz guitar and can dial in a great clean archtop tone. The tracks I have used the Milkman on have been placed on Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, as well as a recent smooth jazz placement on The Young and the Restless.
