Hello!

I just became a Taxi member the other day by recommendation of an online friend who is also a taxi member.

My intention is to spend this year trying to learn about making music for sync and to learn as much as possible. I have zero experience making music for tv etc, so I understand I have a long journey ahead.

Anyway, I’m happy to be here. Looking forward to getting to know you guys and girls.

I made my first attempt at a cue the other day. Got some feedback so I’ll make some adjustments and then submit it and forget it, as I’ve learned.

Nice, just keep gathering information, you will get the hang of what works after a while.

Best place to understand what quality of music you need to produce is the Taxi forwards blog. There you can hear what is forwarded to the particular listings that you aim for:

I'm a newbie to Taxi too so thought I would say 'Hi'. Only a month in and have had 1 forward from 4, but using the forums is great for feedback before and after submission in my experience. I hope to hear some of your tracks soon.

Good job Dex on getting a forward! I still haven't submitted my first. I shared it here for feedback), but it I need to revise it before I submit I think. But I am to finish a track/cue a week so I learn the chops. We'll see how manageable that is, I hope it works out well.
