Joined Taxi back in the fall so still relatively new.

Songwriter and Producer from Toronto - had some forewards with some Hip hop and Pop EDM instrumentals.

I'm most interested in pursuing some of the Songwriting Posts for Pop, Hip Hop and EDM artists.
I'm a writer but not a proper singer so I'd be interested in collaborating with other Taxi Members that are singers or MCs. So far I've been hiring Demo Singers through Sound Better.
Although they are excellent - it is costly and there isn't any collaboration on lyrics, melodies or production

Also if you have had any success having songs cut by other artists through the taxi posts - let me know about it and what the process was like once they received the song. How much of it stayed the way you wrote it and what changes were made.

I'd also be interested in collaborating with other Taxi Members for Synch postings that require lyrics - so far I have not submitted to any of these.

Nice tracks! We have a fairly large contingent of Taxi folks from Toronto and the surrounding area. Smudgie, John Lewitt, Briand Melanson, and others. Smudgie would know more.

BTW, most of us who collab live nowhere near each other and do it all by email and the internet. I've been collab-ing for over 15 years with other Taxi folk and it's all been long distance. I'm always open to collab if you get in touch.

I’m addition to email collabs have you tried any of the live streaming collab programs. They act as a “mixer” between online collabs and make up for the latency.

I haven't done any live collab though I've heard of others doing this. All of mine have been back and forth emails. But I'm also a non-performer who depends on others to produce so I'm not generating "real" tracks to use in a mix. Also sometimes, my contribution to a song is lyrics.
