New to Taxi

My name is Thom, and I recently joined Taxi
Michael has been plugging the forums on Taxi TV quite a bit, so I look forward to being part of the community.
I'm 45 and have been playing music as a hobby for the majority of my life. I joined Taxi as a motivation to write more music and improve my craft. I majored in the study of Sound in college, but my professional career went in a bit of a different direction. This is my first real attempt at making income through composition, so I'm excited about that prospect.
Guitar and bass are my main instruments although I have been dabbling with keyboards for a while as well. I have a very modest home studio which I love.
I'm on the east coast but am considering attending the Road Rally later in the year. It's been a while since I've been to California and it seems like a pretty good excuse to visit
