I always like to 'hover' over any links to reveal what the sender's identity is, without clicking on anything. While I haven't posted anything on Youtube, you've gotten me curious now!

BTW: it was sent out by CD Baby.

I can't find anything about this on the CD Baby site, so I suspect it's not really from them. Also, we do get some emails from CD Baby, but did not get this.

Yeah... though the email had a CD Baby sender address, the program was certainly a Google/YouTube thing.
I did NOT register for it; but others did and have the option to file their report.

I watched. Distribution was a really tiny part of what they talked about. I don't think CD baby was mentioned by name at all. It was mostly how youtube shorts could be leveraged by artists to improve their exposure. Some links to youtube help pages were posted, some checklist-y documents, all focused on using features available on youtube. artists dot youtube dot com looks like it may have some interesting and helpful content, especially for a complete noob like me. Forty-five minutes well-spent? Hmmmmm...mmmmaybe

I did get the email from CD Baby aka YouTube - didn't RSVP to the email, nor did I watch it.
If you read Alan Hall's comment above, he did - and gave a report on it; that's about what I expected.
