Been stalling for years but I finally gave a facelift to my website and updated the content. More to come. The web address (caseysongs) is in my signature below.

A facelift without the face.

I think it needs a professional photo of you on there. If you meet someone at the RR for example and they look you up later they need a face to put to the name so they can recall which of the many people they met you were.
I also wouldn't use terms like " non-performing " or " veteran "

Yea, I just gotta get a new photo. I hate getting photos taken and the ones I have now are old. I'm OK with "non-performing" but I agree the word "veteran" should be changed. It could be misconstrued as a military vet (though I am a vet of many battles with you

) Thanks for the feedback!
What's funny about the whole thing is I don't get any traffic there anyway. If a library or sup wants to hear my music, I send them a custom Disco playlist. For the most part, Film/TV songwriters/composers would be fine without a personal website. It's different for artists for whom it is essential.
Best,

Casey

A facelift without the face.
Well the objective is to not scare away visitors!

"Seasoned Professional" sounds way more legit than "Veteran" - which is more appropriate as a military term.
Besides - when was the last time you heard of someone being scared by a musician...?
"woooooooo, I'm shaking!!"
Nah - I wouldn't worry about making anyone afraid. Maybe if you're posing with a Glock - that'd be a different story.

When I hear "seasoned" I always think of my kitchen cupboard with the spices...
