Please allow me to introduce myself... ;-)

Hello everyone, I've been a member for a few weeks now and have finally managed to upload a few titles to my profile and would therefore like to introduce myself here in the forum as well. I'm not entirely new to the sync business, but I've worked with bands and artists almost exclusively for the last 20 years. In that sense it is somehow a new start for me. Unlike at the beginning of my career, I now want to focus less on instrumentals and instead primarily offer songs with vocals. For this reason, I'm always looking for lyrics that are specifically suitable for sync. I can handle all other aspects of music production myself, but writing lyrics is just not my forte. So if you are interested in collaborating on this, please let me know. My preferred music genre ranges from folk, indie, singer/songwriter to rock. Finally, I would like to say how great it is that such open and friendly interaction is maintained in this forum.

Welcome to TAXI. I am a newbie myself in a fairly similar situation, just been here a few weeks and have made my first few submissions. I got my first return yesterday which is a step forward

Great sound on the drums - are they programmed or played?

Thanks Brian for the nice feedback. On this song I played the drums with a midi keyboard to control the sounds of Toontrack's superior drummer. With the huge selection of samples and grooves that plug-ins like these offer, I very rarely record real drums anymore.

Hey Brian, I just listened to your songs and I think there are some very good approaches there. The associated listings immediately came to mind.
