My new impulse buy!

Hey TAXI Fam!
So I was in Nashville for an Industry Event last month, and after a few too many whiskey and cokes in East Nash, I stumbled upon a really REALLY cool music shop called Fanny's House of Music in Five Points. Man, I gotta tell you, this place is a treasure trove of cool gear, mostly used and vintage. It is basically an old converted craftsman style house from the 1930's (I am guessing) turned into a music store. I spotted a 1974 Fender Precision Bass on the wall, plugged it in (they let you do that at Fanny's lol), and Eureka! The tone was off the charts! I made arrangements for them to ship it out to the San Diego area where I live, put it on the plastic, and went about the rest of my afternoon. Well, it showed up, perfect shape, and I just got it back today from my Guitar Tech..... I replaced the pickups with Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders, had a new nut cut for it, and had flatwounds put on it as well. This bass plays like a dream! I am attaching a pic for you all to check it out! No regrets here!!!
Hope you all have a great Sunday!

Cool story/find - but no photo attached.
I added a new 'toy' to my toolbox this month, too - I can relate to the rush.
Cheers!
Did you happen to see the recent Rick Beato YouTube episode about finding his Uncle's P-Bass?
Epic.
