Things like machine learning and content moderation rely on large datasets—your uploads may be part of that.

Best to zip anything if you're using WeTransfer then it can't be read

If your music is out there anywhere on the internet, it's already fair game for AI learning. I think we're at the point, where it's unavoidable unless you have no internet presence or broadcast use of any kind for your music including hosting sites, Spotify, streaming, broadcasted cues in TV shows, etc. So if your instrumental cues are placed by libraries in TV shows (as we hope they are), does anyone think that's not fair game for AI? Artists who have released music out there?

Personally, I've given up concerning myself about it.

Also, AI probably can read zip files but you can password protect your zips. That being said, I have some libraries I know that would find that annoying.

I have music in a couple of libraries and they now request that nothing be put in any online service, especially for letting someone listen for feedback or for submitting demos as they are pretty sure these places are feeding AI and they are just nervous about it. Made me wonder about our Taxi profiles? If you make a song on your profile publicly available for listening, is it getting swept up by AI for training purposes? Just a though. They do like WeTransfer though so I am unsure what that means now.
