I'm a total TAXI Noo-B

Hello all my fellow TAXI members,
I'm a brand new, (like 8 days into it), TAXI member. I'm Stan Ruffo, living in Vancouver, WA. I've written a few songs over the years, (several of which are registered with BMI). I love the blues. I sing, play harmonica, sax, and a little guitar. (It's a regular size guitar, I just don't play it much). Although I have performed for nearly 25 years and have written tunes dating back as far as '92, I am now planning on focusing on writing.
I have thought about joining TAXI for a LONG time, and always dismissed the idea...Until a fan came up to me with my CD in his hand, and tears on his face, and he said to me, "Your song saved my life". There was no way for me to take him but serious. If I don't write another song that moves another soul, certainly part of my life is all ready fulfilled. On the other hand, if there was one song, maybe there is more...So here I am a brand new TAXI member.
Obviously, I'm hoping to learn as much as I can here, and become a great songwriter. But that's not all. I hope be able to contribute at least as much as I get here. So if ever there is anyway I can be of help to you, please ask. I will feel rewarded!
I'm really excited about coming to the Road Rally, and so looking forward to meeting you great and talented people! Oh yeah, just in case one of you might be wondering about that song the fellow above was talking about, it's titled, Don't Let The Blues Overtake You!
Kind regards,
Stan Ruffo
