I was reading quotes by famous dead composers today and ran across this one by Bach...“Bring me A bowl of coffee before I turn into a goat”—Johann Sebastian BachI have days like that too... Some other good ones...“There’s nothing remarkable about it. All one has to do is hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself.”—Johann Sebastian Bach“I was obliged to be industrious. Whoever is equally industrious will succeed . . . equally well.”—Johann Sebastian Bach

I love that second one from Bach. Here's a couple of my favorites from Mozart:“To talk well and eloquently is a very great art, but that an equally great one is to know the right moment to stop.”“I pay no attention whatever to anybody's praise or blame. I simply follow my own feelings.”

I always liked Chopin's statement...."The only thing more beautiful than the sound of a guitar is the sound of two guitars." There is also Frank Zappa's "Jazz isn't dead, it just smells funny!".
