Platinum Hit?

Is anyone watching the Kara D show called Platinum Hit on the bravo network?
I happened to catch it the other night.... cruising the channels and Kara was on the screen.... I said ...whoa.... what is this? So I hung out a few and discovered that this show is apparently kinda like American Idol, but for songwriters. They wrote a hook based on an idea given to them by the judges.... Kara is the top judge. The 4 top hook writers chose 2 more people each for a collaboration team to write a song for the hook in 8 hours and compete....
One of the writers deemed by the judges to be the weakest one was sent packing at the end of the show.... from what I saw, looks like new collab teams for next week. Might be a show to look for on Wed nites.
According to Kara, the song is the important thing, not the performance. As a matter of fact she kinda ripped into the low scoring team for trying to get a poorly written song past the judges using emotion in the performance instead of writing a good song that could stand on it's own. (refreshing to see that comment from her)
In the course of commenting on the tunes, the judges were giving some good advice to the writers.
Anybody else see this show?
