Hello all,
I hope this is the right place for newbies! I joined Taxi this past year and am now finally getting around to joining the forum. A BIG thank you to Cher Klosner (cherbear) for telling me all about the awesome opportunities and community here.

I posted a bio to my Taxi page but long story short, I just started writing songs about 2 yrs ago, I'm excited to learn all that I can - especially from all of you that have been at it for much longer than I have. I consider myself a reformed shy girl, but have always loved to sing (just kept it under wraps pretty darn well). Now that I've 'come out' music has given me new an even greater purpose and meaning in my life. I might be a late bloomer, but life is just too short to not see where this journey might take me.

I just sent in my first submission today and I'm looking foward to 'meeting' all of you and connecting with the talented people here on the forums!

Well... if you met Cher first then you started at the top and it's mostly downhill from there. But... there's a few nice stragglers here. Glad you made it to the forum.

Dave - Yes, Cher is definitely good people. I met her in Chicago a while back for another work related event. And she also played a huge role and helping me find my voice - literally. Before I ever sang in front people (2 years ago) I sent her something via email. Wanted to hear her professional opinion and she's been so encouraging. When she got excited, I got excited. I owe her big time. :0)
