TAXI.com

Hi I'm David. I spent most of my life in Melbourne, Australia but now live in a (very) small town in western Kentucky. The music biz has always been part time for me, I've played guitar or bass in a number of cover bands and spent what seems a lifetime as a live sound guy. I always loved the mixing part but I'm just too old for the lifting and lugging side of it all now. I've only started writing in the last few years and thought this would be a good place to see if I can improve or if I'm just wasting hard drive space . I only really do instrumentals (my lyric writing sucks) and am curious to see if I could ever have a chance at TV/film music. Looking forward to joining what seems like a friendly and knowledgable "gang".

G'day Stuart. What part of Melbourne? I was in Altona North. Moving to the States has been a blast but I sure miss Oz sometimes.

Thanks for the welcome Suz. I havent joined taxi yet - still getting my recording space set up here and I really want to hang around the forum for a while first and see if my stuff stands any sort of chance.
