hey everyone! my name's matt pereyra, and not only am i new to this forum, but i am new to forums in general. i'm on my second year of being a taxi member and i felt it was finally time i broke into the forum world.so i guess i shall just talk about myself a little bit. i'm a 21 year-old singer/songwriter. i've been writing since i was about 15. i do most of my writing on guitar. my writing started in the pop/punk/rock scene, then i tried going towards the indie style, and now i've been experimenting with electronic productions of my songs. umm my favorite color is blue and i really like strawberry ice cream, but i'm lactose intolerant. hahah is there a form i'm sposedta follow?i'm a really chill guy and get along with most people who are the same. let's be friends and share musical wisdom amongst each other!

i actually really have no idea about how this stuff works. i've seen that a lot of people have made posts about newbz to the forum and that i should work my way around everything. but really, i'm just a songwriter and i wanna meet people that i can talk to and learn from and also impart some knowledge too if possible.thanks for the reply georgie

Welcome Matt. I'm fairly new too, all the way around. Just joined taxi last week and then the forums. I think you will find much in here to be very informative. I know in under a week, I have really enjoyed myself here.Oh and apparently there are a lot of Steve, Steven, Stevie, and Stephen's so you may be asked to change your name. I had to. Take care dude!

thank you for the welcomings stephen and...stephen hahah. yea i've been reading around the forum a lil bit and there's a lot of stuff everywhere. kinda overwhelming. but it seems like a great resource to have and become a part of.it's like college all over again, being thrown into a new place with unfamiliar faces and just trying to find a place amongst the community.good stuff.
