This is pretty funny.
I'm watching Master Chef Australia and Hell's Kitchen.
It's interesting when you start to hear samples/loops from your DAW.
Logic in my case.
Some drum loops, swooshes and cymbal transitions from apple loops and jam packs.
Have you ever noticed this in a TV-show or movie?

Yes.
I used a preset arpeggio from a particular soft synth as the main theme/riff of one of my instrumental pieces (never again). Months later my wife heard the same thing (not my track though) in one of those Kardashian shows.
...I learned my lesson...don't use preset arpeggio pasterns exactly as they are.

My daughter was playing a game on her iPod a few months ago that had a jungle theme. I recognized the drum loop as something I had used a few years ago with a middle eastern feel.

It was from Logic.

Half of the rhythm loops on reality tv are from Stylus RMX...
(The other half are from Heavyocity

)
Okay slight exaggeration but you get the idea...

Yeah, I've noticed and can especially relate to the Stylus comment. It almost seem like if there's no Stylus sounds in there, it won't be recognized as TV music!
