ck out FAST songwriting on Pro Tools

This is an amazing video of a songwriter using Pro Tools. Helped me alot. Starts with just a acoustic gtr idea, and in minutes, has added bass, a full drum kit and recorded the guitar tracks and has pretty much arranged the song.

This gentleman obviously knows his stuff!One of the biggest hurdles that I've dealt with is figuring out a way to use ProTools LE in a way that is comfortable to me. Whether to play the drum parts on keyboard, plug in a drum machine, use loops, hire a real drummer,etc are all individual choices that can be overwhelming at times. The use of a template with kick, snare, ride, hi-hat hits allready loaded for copying and pasting is a very clever way to approach the process. There's a lot of food for thought in those two videos. Thanks for sharing them.Steve
