wondering how the bio was overlooked

I had a submitted song reviewed recently. In the critique the listener (#242) noted how important it was to have a biography posted on the member's hosting page. Since this seemed to have a bearing on my submission being returned. When you submit a song, isn't a posted bio there for the listener to view? Is there a step in the submission process that I'm overlooking? Just wondering. Thanks! CO'N

hey charlie, welcome aboard!yes, you can click on "bio" as well as "photo" in your submission (just below where your songs are). if you don't I don't think the bio or photo will be sent.cheers, martin

I just had they same thing happened to me...here's the official answer:You can submit a photo and bio to any listing that requests one by choosing the photo/bio you'd like. The option to submit them will be under your song list on the left of your submission page. You need to choose them because members have multiple pics and bio options to choose from.Walter

Hi Happy New Year !I asked someone at Taxi about this a while back- because when I was submitting sometimes the bio buttons would appear there and other times they wouldn't.They said the bio & photo's automatically go with the song. I have no idea if this is true or not. Just passing it along. To a great 2-0-0-8!Bob

Sometimes you need to toggle your browser window so you can see your complete song list, if you scroll down, your photo & bio will be on the bottom.

Hey Guys,Craig from TAXI here. When a listing requests Pictures or Bio’s to be submitted, you will find the option to attach them to your submission at the bottom of the submission window – they are NOT automatically attached since you have different choices. If you forget to attach this material – our screeners will go directly to your home page to check out this material IF the photo and bio are the only thing holding the screener back from forwarding the material. So, if you would like this material to be seen when when making submissions, please remember to attach it with your original submission. Thanks Jimi!Craig

Wow,Didn't know that, perhaps it should be spelled out better on the listing page, because in the past it was automatic. And most members won't be reading this.Dave
