This might be a silly question but I just joined Taxi today and I just can't wait to submit my music. The only problem is that I don't know how...Will I recieve the whitelists the 15th of January and the be able to submit or am I missing something? I can't really figure it out. Please help a noob:-)

You'll get a "welcome to Taxi" package in the mail as soon as they've processed your application. This will contain the current set of listings as well as your membership number. You'll need that to submit. After that you can start submitting. If you're going to submit electronically via the taximusic site you'll have to create an account there and upload some music, obviously. In the meantime, you can see the current set of listings here, if you haven't already:

You can wait for your package, but if there are listings that you want to submit to before Jan 15th (there are several that are expiring this week), you might want to give TAXI a call to get your member number (if you are going to overnight packages), and/or get your online account at taximusic.com set up, as suggested by matto. Online is great, as you can submit directly online and don't have to rely on snail mail to get your music delivered. Either way, good luck! Raags

hey mf-- I remember that feeling of not being able to wait to submit! Just a note of caution: if you already read these forum pages you already know this, but read the listings carefully to make sure your song is right on target for the listing. One thing a lot of members say is that early on they submitted to any listing that they thought their song might be relevant for, but the screeners won't pass on a song, even a great song, for a listing that it isn't right on target for. If you're not sure, you can always post a link to your song and the details of the listing in the Review area of the forum to see if others think you're on target. Good luck and welcome to Taxi!
Thanx
