Hey all, my first post here. I started this thread over at GS. At the time I was unaware of these forums. I was one of the postings that eventually pointed me here. None the less there is a lot of really good info in that thread. I'm now in the process of reading through a bunch of threads here to fill in the gaps. Looking forward to riding TAXI with y'all.Take care,BH

Welcome to Taxi, sometimes the ride is bumpy, and the driver can go too slow or toofast, and sometimes you don't even know where you're going to end up. But the people here are very nice, and extremely helpful. My experience has been awesome.Beerhunter is a GREAT name!steve

HelloAnother first time poster lured in from said thread. The opinions over at GS were very informative - it was encouraging to hear what others said about Taxi. In the near future I will pay up some money and join. So yes, good publicity and all that...The Internet is Our Friend

I read the thread further than I should have probably and the fact of the matter is that most of the people over there who have a thing against TAXI know nothing about it. Just talking loud and saying nothing, making their ignorance well known.I've been on these boards for years. Been working, raising my family (last one moved out in November...YES!! ), and writing music. This year, me and my wife made the commitment that we were going to build up our music production company, me making the music, doing submissions, and networking and she doing the administrative, accounting, and networking.I've been looking at TAXI being a part of my marketing plan as a producer/songwriter in that time and I'm sorry...if you're a producer/songwriter, this is an excellent tool to have in your arsenal. If you're a band...well...not so great. It can still help though but not so much as a producer/songwriter. This is what I've gathered over the years and it was echoed in the Gearslutz thread.Oh...and yes. I'll be joining TAXI between now and the beginning of April. Yeah..I know you hate it.
