For those of you who have even been *contacted* for a deal, I have a simple question. What method or methods are used by an interested company to contact you? Phone? Snail mail? Email?

Phone or email. Email is most common now. Never heard of anybody contacting anybody by snail mail. Please remember to be patient. This is the music business. More often than not it operates VERY slowly. People are extremely busy and get around to listening to stuff...when they get to it .Patience is not just a virtue, it's a necessity here. matto

Ah, thanks for the info. Don't get me wrong, I'm more than willing to wait however long it takes. I'm just worried now because I don't have a landline phone - only a cell, and it's off a lot during the day as I have classes between 3 and 8 hours a day!

almost always it has been via Email. A few have called me, but I think the majority is via Email.just install a voicebox and things should be fine.

Yeah obviously you'd want the calls to go to voicemail when your phone is off.
