and do they slip in the back door to Taxi so as not to suffer disdain and ridicule from their currently more successful colleagues?!

I don't think anyone on the Taxi forum would have any idea how much Taxi pays their consultants. And why would you presume that highly respected folks like John Braheny or Pat Pattison or Pete & Pat Luboff or Steve Memel would need to slip in the back door?

you could google them yourself, but here you go...Pat Pattison - is a professor of lyric writing at Berklee. I've got 2 or 3 of his books. Probably don't get paid enough considering the credentials..... plus they have to put up with us being all whiney when they send our songs back.....

Michael Laskow mentioned in a post that he pays approx. 1 mio us $ for the screener per year, in total. Personally I don't think that taxi ows us details about their salaries - No company tell you what their employees earn, execpt for the higher manager & CEO (...but as far as I know taxi is not in the stock market..
