HiI live in London and have just won the green card lottery. I currently do freelance function gigs and teaching in the UK (guitar) and am a member of the Musicians Union.What magazines if any list auditions and are there any organisations I should join in order to increase my network. I am a member of TAXI!Any advice on where to get started so I can begin my research would be great.ThanksKent

Depends a lot on the kind of music you play Kent. Want to join a group or play solo? Will you want to play in a particular part of the US or tour? If your union has reciprocal agreement with AFM (AMercian Federation of Musicians) then they would be of some help, but how much depends a lot on how active the local chapter is.
