Library question

Hi there

Last year I signed a track to a library written by me and my co-writer. It got registered corectly with PRS and ASCAP.

I just came across the same track on a sub publishers website in Australia where my co-writer was listed as sole writer. I also
checked the Australian PRO where it was registered in my co-writers name.

Is this likely to be a problem? Should I alert the sub publisher?

Any thoughts?

Assuming this is the only library that has the track, I would contact them first and ask them to look into the situation. The library acts as publisher and therefore handles administration of the track-- PRO registrations, collecting license fees, etc. So, they would be they first point of contact. It would be best to get it fixed so there never is a placement for which you don't get your share of the royalties.

Good luck!

Thank Casey. Appreciate it.

Yes it's an exclusive library and I'll contact them on Monday.
