Library wants tracks but just submitted them to taxi

hi Folks, Just wanted to get your thoughts....

back in January signed a track to an exclusive library.few months later sent him 5 more tracks but didn't hear back from him for months so have just submitted 3 of those tracks to a Taxi listing (also exclusive library) and one of them to a good non-exclusive company who I have had some great placements from.

Now the first Library has just listened to the 5 tracks, likes them and wants to sing them all. Not sure whether to hang fire on the ones sent to the Taxi listing until reviewed (also exclusive) or just let him have them now?

My thought regarding the one sent to the non-ex library is to wait until I have their verdict on it, they have placed every song accepted so if they take it on they really work their catalog and it has a good chance of placement. If rejected then I can give it to the interested library in a month or so. Does this sound like a good plan or should I just take the `bird in the hand` and sign them all to him right now? If the Taxi listing submission leads to interest I can write some more stuff I guess if first 3 are no longer available.

Any thoughts much appreciated. Thanks. Pepeluis

wow dilemma!!!

I would likely sign the ones to the library who finally listened to them.

and for the rest, offer to write more in the similar style.

If the non-exclusive has placed all your stuff to date, I am sure they know your quality, just write more!! no time to waste!!

Good luck!

Yeah, I agree.

You already have a relationship with the first library and even though it took some time to hear back I would give them what they want to strengthen that relationship. If the other library (recently auditioned for) also wants them, just make more similar. :)

Indeed, a good problem to have.
