How long does it take to be contacted?

At the Rally a music supervisor said he wanted one of my tracks. So what happens next?
This would be my first placement if it still happens.
Thanks!

I would sit tight until after the holidays. If you haven't heard anything by then, I think a nice, short polite email is ok. Reference the Road Rally, and maybe remind them of the track they liked. Keep it very short and polite - a quick follow up.
Was this from a one on one session or a ballroom panel?
My 2 cents.
Cheers

Yes...just because the supe liked it. It doesn't necessarily mean they have a project for it at the moment.
But it could sit on their shelf for a month or a couple of years and then you could get a call.
They would call you to license your song for a placement. And if still available you would agree on a fee.
So as we say around here it is best to forget.
The mantra is: Write, Submit, Forget, Repeat.
Good luck!
