Hi All,

I'm a Taxi member with a few music library deals in place, a few exclusive, a few non- exclusive. I was thinking about signing up for CD Baby to make my tunes available on Youtube. I know they have a regular membership and a Pro version. Im already an ASCAP member. If anyone has an opinion or personal experience with this, please let me know if it is worth joining. Bottom line, I want to make as much of my work available for use in order to generate income.

Thanks
Adam

My understanding is that if you're looking to license your music through libraries/publishers you want to avoid signing up for their "pro" deal where they administer your publishing. It will prevent you from being able to sign those tracks with libraries and if you already have those tracks signed it might violate your contract(s).

It's fine to sign up for their regular deal where they just distribute your tracks to various digital services.

Hope that helps!
