With the potential acquisition of Soundcloud by Spotify .. what is your strategy vis-a-vis your songs on Soundcloud?
> take 'em down?
> make 'em private?
> post only excerpts?
> add a "voice-over" notice?
> add more songs?

I use the private function a lot, well mostly actually, so no real impact on my use either way, really.
I doubt it will happen, though.

You don't need to do anything right away; for now and the immediate future, they're separate entities, but you'll likely have more licensing/distribution options, going forward. Unless I'm grossly mistaken, you'll still have the option to leave your tracks private.
