Currently reading .... "Corporate Music Method" by guitarist, songwriter, producer Erwin Steijlen from the Netherlands. It's a 2016 printing, so it's pretty current. I highly recommend it, as he covers a lot about writing and producing commercial music for the corporate world, which according to the pitches Erwin receives from them, their payment for one production averages in the $20k ballpark!

Here's an example of a production Erwin did for the product launch of the BMW M4 GTS:

Erwin especially writes for corporate media, like major European car manufacturers, doing product launches for BMW, VW, etc. He wrote music for the Beijing Olympics in 2008, collaborated with Cirque du Soleil and DJ Fedde LeGrand for the inauguration of the biggest ship ever built, "Pioneering Spirit". He has written for Nike, Ford, Verizon, LG, Time Warner, Bentley, Shell, Phillips, etc.

I'll have to add that to my list. :)

I've got a list of music-related books I've read at my web site, posting for people to get some ideas.

Thanks for the link Paulie!

P.S.: really... enjoyed your Jazz examples, you're an excellent sax player. I'll have to get out my Dexter Gordon records now because your sax playing reminded me of him.
